Mild Steel Flat Bar is a versatile product commonly used in fabrication. With a flat surface and square edge, Sizing is represented as Width x Thickness, for example 40 x 25 = (45 mm Wide x 25mm Thick).

 

1045 steel is often used to manufacture large sprockets and steel gears for the paper industry and other processing industries.   • Carburizing at 899°C – 927°C (1650°F-1700°F)
  • Hardening at 788°C – 816°C (1450°F-1500°F)
